The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the Chief of Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Kosovo, Mr. Agim Gashi, accompanied by Mrs. Martina Fava, Coordinator for Missing Persons and their Families in the Western Balkans.
The central topic of the meeting was the issue of missing persons by force during the war in Kosovo, where Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi reemphasized the Government’s commitment to prioritizing the clarification of the fate, and whereabouts of the missing, the establishment of justice and the humanitarian emergency in relation to this issue.
Emphasizing that Kosovo has raised the issue of missing persons by force in Brussels as well, Mr. Bislimi thanked the International Committee of the Red Cross for the continuous support given to the Government of Kosovo, for the support of the families of missing persons by force and the work done in this direction.
In this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi was accompanied by Mr. Andin Hoti, chairman of the Governmental Commission for Missing Persons, also Chairman of the Delegation for Talks on the Issue of Missing Persons.
