Prishtina, 16 November, 2023
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has held the next meeting, in which there are:
– Approved the Draft Law on amending and supplementing the Laws Containing Special Administrative Procedures and their Harmonization with the Law on General Administrative Procedure, Second Phase. Through it, the guarantee of compliance with the general principles and the level of protection of the legal rights and interests of the parties will be ensured.
– Approved the decision on the list of positions for the benefit of the supplement for specific working conditions, namely the dangerousness supplements for the Kosovo Police. These allowances will start to be applied from the November salary, while for the months until now from the entry into force of the new Salary Law, they will be allocated retroactively. With the approval of this decision, 7991 police officials are expected to benefit.
– Amended and completed Government Decision No. 09/67 dated March 9, 2022 for the appointment of the Board of Directors of the Regional Water Company Hidromorava, Sh. A. Gjilan. The selection of the chairman of the Board of public enterprises is the competence of the Government, therefore for the Board of the public enterprise Hidromorava, in the framework of the reformation of the Board as well as the redistribution of responsibilities within the board, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the regional water company Hidromorava Sh.A, Gjilan, Primary School Gashi Sadiku is appointed, while the current chairman is appointed a member of this Board.
– Approved the final decision for expropriation for public interest of immovable, former social property E.g. IGK “Balkan” Damper Unit, (former Camp “Casablanca”), for the needs of the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force. With the completion of the expropriation procedures according to the legal steps taken by MMPHI, the workers of the former “Balkani” factory will also be compensated in the amount of 20% of the amount.
– Amended and completed the 2023 Annual Program for the State Reserves of Goods.
– Approved the decision to purchase the building of the General Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Strasbourg, France. This decision paves the way for the beginning of the purchase procedures as provided for in the respective legislation in force.
