The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held today an Electronic meeting, in which it approved the Initiative for the conclusion of the Agreement for the recognition of the Right to Exercise the Professions of Lawyer and Mediator in Dispute Resolution between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania.
The decision obliges the Ministry of Justice in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to conduct negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Albania in order to finalize the final text of the above-mentioned agreement, in accordance with the legislation in force. The purpose of the agreement is to determine the applicable rules in enabling the recognition of the right to exercise the professions of lawyer and mediator in the resolution of disputes in both countries, as well as the rights and obligations that the Parties undertake to achieve the goal, according to this Agreement.
