On the closing day of the 25th jubilee edition of the ReMusica Festival, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the festival’s organizers, Donika Rudi and Viktor Berishaj.
Full statement from Prime Minister Kurti:
On the closing day of the 25th jubilee edition of the ReMusica Festival, we welcomed its organizers, Donika Rudi and Viktor Berishaj, to discuss the festival’s journey, its contribution to the country’s musical life, and plans for the future.
Over the course of a quarter-century, ReMusica has presented approximately 500 works by Albanian composers from Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and the diaspora, connecting our musical creativity with the international stage.
We also discussed programs such as ReMusica Junior and ReNew—which support the development of new generations of musicians—as well as the work and challenges involved in organizing the festival throughout the year. Through international partnerships, ReMusica aims to ensure that the works and artists presented in Kosovo continue their journey onto European and global stages. Congratulations to Donika, Viktor, and the entire team on 25 years of dedication to our music and culture!
Tonight, starting at 19:30, at the Atelier of the Palace of Youth in Pristina, we invite you to attend the closing concert featuring the Kosovo Philharmonic, Slovenian guitarist Mak Grgić, and conductor Marco Crispo. A wonderful evening to mark the conclusion of this jubilee!
