The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Naples, Admiral George M. Wikoff, and the new KFOR Commander, Major General Roberto Vergori.
The meeting with Admiral Wikoff and Major General Vergori focused on the security situation in the country and the region, current developments, and the cooperation and coordination between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and NATO.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the contribution of the North Atlantic Alliance—which Kosovo aims to join—to lasting peace and long-term stability in Kosovo and the entire Western Balkans, as well as for the commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all citizens and communities.
