On Friday afternoon, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received a congratulatory letter from Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar, conveyed through Ambassador László István Dux, on the occasion of his new government mandate.
“I would like to extend my most sincere congratulations to you on your election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo. We recognize Kosovo’s key role in the stability of the Western Balkans region. Therefore, we are convinced that a prosperous Western Balkans is of vital importance to Hungary and the entire European continent,” he wrote.
Prime Minister Magyar reaffirmed Hungary’s commitment to the security of the Republic of Kosovo and expressed support for its European integration.
“In this spirit, allow me to reiterate that Hungary remains committed to contributing to Kosovo’s security through its participation in the KFOR mission and to supporting your country on its European path,” Prime Minister Magyar wrote.
