The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received a letter of congratulations on the formation of the new Government and the beginning of its new mandate from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.
“I am pleased to extend my most sincere congratulations to you on the successful formation of the new government and your assumption of office as Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo. The dynamics of international relations require continuous efforts to effectively protect national interests. Your tireless commitment to consolidating Kosovo as an independent and respected member of the international community provides strong grounds for confidence in the success of your mission,” Prime Minister Radev wrote.
In his letter, Prime Minister Radev also expressed the Bulgarian Government’s support for Kosovo’s integration processes.
“I assure you of the readiness of the government I lead to continue supporting efforts to provide a clear perspective for the Republic of Kosovo’s accession to the European Union, as well as your country’s full membership in the Council of Europe,” he continued.
With a view to further deepening relations between the two countries, Prime Minister Radev invited Prime Minister Kurti to visit Bulgaria.
“Excellent bilateral relations and friendly personal contacts provide a solid foundation for further strengthening the ties between us. I am convinced that an official visit by you to Bulgaria in the near future would make a significant contribution to elevating the partnership between our two countries to a new, higher level. Please accept, dear Mr Prime Minister, the assurances of my highest consideration,” Prime Minister Radev concluded in his letter.
