The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received a congratulatory letter yesterday regarding the Government and his new term in office from the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Friedrich Merz.
“I extend my sincere congratulations on your re-election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo. Kosovo has put behind it months of political uncertainty that imposed high costs on the country. The confirmation of your election offers an opportunity to build bridges beyond partisan lines, resolve outstanding institutional issues, and advance reforms,” wrote Chancellor Merz.
In addition to wishing him continued success in his new term, Chancellor Merz wrote that Germany stands firmly by Kosovo, emphasizing the special friendship with the people of Kosovo.
