The Government of the Republic of Kosovo thanks the organizers of the “March for Freedom” in Pristina.
We also express our gratitude to the thousands of participating citizens for their peaceful conduct, dignified demeanor, and the clear positions expressed during this event.
The march was held to call for the release of four leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, whose detention at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague has now entered its 70th month.
The Government particularly appreciates the cooperation shown by the organizers and participants with the law enforcement and security agencies of the Republic of Kosovo, which contributed to the peaceful and safe process of the march.
