Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Naples in Italy, U.S. Admiral George Wikoff, who was accompanied by the Commander of KFOR, Major General Özkan Ulutaş.
After welcoming him to Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Admiral Wikoff for NATO’s commitment, through KFOR, to maintaining a peaceful and secure environment for all citizens and communities, as well as for its continued contribution to sustainable peace and long-term stability in Kosovo and the Western Balkans.
In addition to the security situation, the meeting also addressed cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and NATO, as well as opportunities to expand and deepen such cooperation.
