The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in the framework of marking the 36th anniversary of the Constitutional Declaration of July 2, hosted a meeting with a group of former journalists from Rilindja newspaper.
Speaking about the importance of reporting and covering historical events, the Prime Minister highlighted the role of Rilindja newspaper in this regard, in extremely difficult circumstances, which were aggravated until its violent closure on August 7 and 8, 1990 by the Serbian regime.
Acting Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the Rilindja archive is our history, because it serves as a point of reference and consultation for all scholars conducting research on Kosovo in the second half of the last century.
While the Prime Minister thanked them for their contribution, they expressed their gratitude for the invitation, saying that it is one of the rare receptions they receive at the highest state institutions.
Part of the delegation were the journalists: Binak Kelmendi, Ibrahim Kadriu, Evliana Berani, Dush Gashi, Mehmet Gjata and Emine Berisha.
