Prishtina, 24 June 2026
The acting Government of the Republic of Kosovo held a regular meeting today, in which it:
• Approved the decision to lease an area of 99,715 square meters out of a total area of 1,685,079 square meters, upon the request of the Kosovo Forest Agency/Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, for a period of 15 years for the extraction and use of limestone, Cadastral Zone, Seqisht, Municipality of Hani i Elezit.
• Approved the decision on the reallocation of budget funds in the amount of €1,150,000 to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, under the program “Co-funding Projects with Municipal Assemblies”, from the category of capital expenditures, specifically from the capital project “Co-funding Program with the Municipal Assemblies”, into 4 (four) new capital projects in accordance with the memoranda of understanding for capital projects signed by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport and the Mayors of the respective Municipalities.
• Approved the decision on the reallocation of budget funds in the amount of €1,050,000.00, to the Ministry of Local Government Administration, under the Central Administration program, category of capital expenditures, specifically from the capital project “Municipal Program for the Development of Socio-Economic Infrastructure and Inter-Municipal Cooperation”, into 4 (four) capital projects in accordance with the 4 (four) agreements for financial support for capital projects signed by the Minister of MLGA and the Mayors of the respective Municipalities.
• Approved the decision to suspend the implementation of the Regulation on the reception and handling of telephone calls in the system for appointing Ex-Officio lawyers of the Kosovo Bar Association, until a final decision is issued by the competent court.
• Approved the decision to suspend the execution of the administrative act on the level of registration fees of the Kosovo Bar Association, until a final decision is issued by the competent court.
• Approved the decision on appointing the Commission on Crime Victim Compensation.
• Approved the decision on the reallocation of budget funds in the amount of €350,000.00 (three hundred and fifty thousand euros), to the Ministry of Regional Development, under the Central Administration program, from the capital investment category, specifically from the project “Regional Development Program”, into eight (8) capital investment projects in accordance with the memoranda of understanding for co-funding of projects signed by the Minister of Regional Development and the Mayors of Municipalities.
• Approved the decision to further review the request for expropriation, in the public interest, of immovable properties belonging to owners and other right holders affected by the implementation of the project: Rehabilitation of the landslide on the Hani i Elezit–Goranca–Glloboçica road, Cadastral Zone: Rezhanca, Municipality of Hani i Elezit.
• Approved the decision to further review the request for expropriation, in the public interest, of immovable properties belonging to owners and other right holders affected by the implementation of the project: Rehabilitation of the Regional Road R112, segment: Gjonaj-Bishtazhin, Cadastral Zone: Gjonaj, Municipality of Prizren.
• Approved the request of the Ministry of Justice for the allocation of budget funds in the amount of €200,000.00 (two hundred thousand euros), for the funding of the supply and installation of a new generator in the High Security Prison.
• Approved the request of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo for the return of funds in the amount of €12,513.00 (twelve thousand five hundred and thirteen euros), transferred to the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo, for the Socially Owned Enterprise “Komogllava”.
• Approved the Initiative for the conclusion of a Grant Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and the International Development Association, for the KOMPAS – Kosovo Comprehensive Approach to Health System Strengthening Project.
• Appointed the Interim Board of Directors of the Central Public Enterprise “Infrakos” J.S.C., in the following composition:
1. Getuar Zogu, Chairperson;
2. Detrina Alishani Sopi, Member;
3. Fjolla Gashi, Member;
4. Genc Hundozi, Member.
• Approved the allocation of budget funds in the amount of €44,004.22 (forty-four thousand four euros and twenty-two cents) for the Municipality of Shtime, for the completion of the project ‘Wastewater Treatment Plant, Shtime’, through the Investment Clause.
• Allocated budget funds in the amount of €3,000,000.00 (three million euros) for the implementation of Measure 4.5 “Support for the Diaspora” of the Economic Recovery Package.
