The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the acting Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Dimal Basha, participated in the ceremony of launching works on the regional road R-118 from the center of Mushtisht to Delloc.
The road, which will connect Shiroka with Shtërpcë and passes through Mushtisht, is 1140 meters long and the total cost is 1 million euros. On this occasion, the acting Prime Minister Kurti encouraged the economic operator to accelerate the dynamics of the works.
“It is extremely important to connect Suhareka with Shtërpcë, for citizens, for tourism, for businesses. And in this way we create better conditions for our compatriots, who, as you know, when they come to Kosovo want to visit the most beautiful parts of our country, and I believe that the Mushtisht mountain range up to Brezovica is such a belt of rare natural beauty with great potential for natural tourism and cultural tourism”, he said.
Statement by Acting Prime Minister Kurti:
We are here together with the Acting Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Dimal Basha, but also with former Minister Hysen Durmishi, with activists and officials of institutions and the Movement (Levizja), in establishing the start of works for the road, which will connect Shiroka with Shtërpcë and passes through Mushtisht.
The day before yesterday, we made the decision as the Government of the Republic for the necessary expropriations and without wasting time, we are starting work on this road, which is 1140 meters long and the total cost is 1 million euros.
I thank the economic operator, I encourage the dynamics of the works to be accelerated and I also thank the minister, the former minister and all the residents of Mushtisht. We will come here together again when we have to do the inauguration.
