Acting Prime Minister Kurti held a bilateral meeting with the Kosovo Desk Officer at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr. Klimes

The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, within the framework of the international conference “Future Industry Minds 2026” in Germany, held a bilateral meeting with the Kosovo Desk Officer at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Dr. Micong Klimes.

Expressing gratitude to Germany as a steadfast partner for decades, Acting Prime Minister Kurti highlighted its major contribution to the development of society, infrastructure, services, and institutions through Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), German Agency for International Cooperation, KfW, as well as through the financing of civil society organizations.

Acting Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the importance of moving to a new level of cooperation, from assistance to joint investment. In this context, he underlined that beyond financial grants from Germany, Kosovo needs access to markets, investments, and the transfer of industrial know-how that create jobs and generate income.

While noting that the Kosovo diaspora in Germany is already building bridges between the two countries, Acting Prime Minister Kurti stressed the need for structured bilateral cooperation and a platform that facilitates investment.
