As part of his participation in the Summit of the European Political Community (EPC), the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden.
During the meeting, Acting Prime Minister Kurti expressed gratitude for Luxembourg’s continuous support to Kosovo, highlighting in particular its valuable contribution in the healthcare sector and other key areas of development. In this regard, he especially thanked Luxembourg for the recent support of €50 million, which demonstrates its commitment to strengthening institutional capacities and the well-being of Kosovo’s citizens.
The discussion also focused on current political developments and Kosovo’s strategic priorities in relation to European integration. Acting Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the importance of further advancing this process, including Kosovo’s application for candidate country status for membership in the European Union and progress toward membership in the Council of Europe.
In conclusion, Acting Prime Minister Kurti thanked his counterpart for Luxembourg’s continued support for Kosovo on the international stage, reaffirming readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation and coordinate in multilateral forums of common interest.
