The Sixteenth Meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo

Prishtina, 30 April 2026

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting today, in which it:

• Approved the Quarterly Budget Report for 2026.

• Approved the request of the Ministry of Finance to amend and supplement Decision No. 04/09 of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, dated 10 April 2026, on the transfer of budget expenditures from parent ministries to newly established ministries.

• Allocated budget funds in the amount of €45,000 (forty-five thousand euros) for the Vienna Economic Forum, with the aim of promoting the Republic of Kosovo.

• Approved the decision on the appointment of the Governing Board of the Kosovo Hospital and University Clinical Service.

• Approved the request of the Ministry of Health for the payment of fifty-two (52) specialist trainees on maternity leave, funded under the economic category of subsidies and transfers within the subprogramme “Specialist Training” and EVM, in the amount of €475,051.50, covering the period from 1 November 2025 to 31 December 2026.

• Approved the decision on the appointment of the Coordinating Group for protection against domestic violence, violence against women, and gender-based violence.

• Approved the decision amending and supplementing Government Decision No. 17/47 of 10 December 2021, as amended and supplemented by Government Decision No. 09/24 of 11 August 2021 and Government Decision No. 12/191 of 5 March 2024. Through this decision, the mandate of the Secretariat of the Government Commission for the Recognition of the Status of Former Political Prisoners and Former Politically Persecuted Persons is extended for a two-year period.

• Approved the decision amending and supplementing Government Decision No. 09/24 of 11 August 2021, as amended and supplemented by Government Decision No. 06/73 of 30 April 2022 and Government Decision No. 11/191 of 5 March 2024, through which the mandate of the Government Commission for the Recognition of the Status of Former Political Prisoners and Former Politically Persecuted Persons is extended for a two-year period.
