The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, received the Commanding Officer of the amphibious landing ship USS Pearl Harbor of the United States of America, Commander Alban Dervishi.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked the Albanian-American commanding officer for the visit and expressed his happiness for his successes in the US Navy, praising him as an example of commitment, dedication and professionalism.
They discussed the close cooperation of the Kosovo Security Force with the Armed Forces of the United States of America, with special emphasis on the Iowa National Guard. Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support of American allies in strengthening and advancing the KSF.
Prime Minister Kurti also emphasized that Kosovo is clearly defined on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration.
