The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has appointed Mr. Jeton Zulfaj as Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union. Mr. Zulfaj will coordinate Kosovo’s European integration process, supported by relevant state structures.
Mr. Zulfaj was also appointed National Coordinator for the Reform and Growth Instrument (RGF), serving as the main coordinating authority on behalf of the Government for all matters related to this instrument, including acting as a single point of contact with the European Commission and overseeing the implementation of EU support.
This decision completes the legal framework for accessing EU Growth Plan funds, from which Kosovo is expected to benefit from EUR 882 million in loans and grants.
