Prime Minister Kurti hosted EBRD representatives at a meeting

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, hosted representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The meeting discussed deepening cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the EBRD, with a particular focus on advancing infrastructure projects and implementing the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024, which foresees an investment portfolio of up to 400 million euros by 2027.

Priority projects in the fields of road infrastructure, wastewater, water systems, energy efficiency and public transport were also discussed, as well as the possibilities for signing new financing agreements during the years 2026–2027.

Prime Minister Kurti thanked the EBRD for its continued support to Kosovo and stressed the importance of the partnership with this institution for the implementation of strategic projects that improve infrastructure and services for citizens.

For their part, the EBRD representatives reaffirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation with Kosovo institutions in the implementation of development projects and in support of economic reforms.
