The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed Lord Cromwell, Member of the House of Lords, and Martin Vickers, Member of the United Kingdom Parliament.
Lord Cromwell and Martin Vickers congratulated Prime Minister Kurti and the people of Kosovo on the 18th anniversary of Independence, marked yesterday, and congratulated him on his new governing mandate.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Kosovo and the United Kingdom were discussed, with particular emphasis on economic and trade cooperation and the opportunities that Kosovo offers for foreign investments and investors. Security in the region and on the continent was also part of the discussion.
The Prime Minister thanked them for the visit and congratulations, as well as for their cooperation and commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries. He expressed gratitude for the historic role and invaluable contribution of the United Kingdom in the liberation, independence, state-building and development of Kosovo.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister highlighted the priorities of the Government, particularly the major infrastructure projects foreseen for this new mandate, capital investments that will exceed the value of 1 billion euros per year, such as investments in security and defense.
