Prime Minister Kurti met with US senators Shaheen, Murphy, Tillis and Gallego

Munich, 14 February 2026

On the margins of the Munich Security Conference, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with US senators Jeanne Shaheen, Chris Murphy, Thom Tillis and Ruben Gallego. He was accompanied in this meeting by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, and the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci.

Prime Minister Kurti expressed gratitude to the United States of America as our main ally. Kosovo’s progress in the democratic and economic aspects was emphasized during the meeting.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the Euro-Atlantic orientation and our continuous objective and commitment for membership in NATO and the European Union.

Regarding relations with Serbia, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the handover of the terrorist ringleader Milan Radoicic, who must face justice in Kosovo for organizing and executing the attack in Banjska on 24 September 2023; the signing of the Basic Agreement; the withdrawal of Brnabic’s letter where it is stated that Kosovo’s territorial integrity will not be respected.
