Munich, 14 February 2026
The next meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in Munich, was held with the former Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, who now holds the role of Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The Prime Minister emphasized the democratic progress and economic development of Kosovo over these 5 years, also evidenced through positive rankings in international indices.
He expressed gratitude to UNDP for the support through various projects, support for sustainable development and fruitful cooperation. During the conversation, possibilities for further deepening of cooperation were also discussed.
The Prime Minister also raised the importance of Kosovo’s access to Vertical Climate and Environment Funds, such as the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF), an access that enables the advancement of the green transition agenda.
