Prishtina, 6 February, 2026
The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Daulina Osmani, welcomed the members of the “Prishtina” Alpine Club, who are preparing for their next climb, the summit of Kilimanjaro.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was informed about the group’s final plans and preparations before leaving for Tanzania, where they intend to climb the summit of Kilimanjaro, at an altitude of 5895 meters, on the anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo. The organizers and representatives of the group of climbers expressed that this idea is intended as a form of representing and promoting the country through mountain sports.
Thanking them for the visit, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated them for their commitment to promoting our country and wished them luck and success in this next climb, of particular importance.
