The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development of Canada, Maninder Sidhu, at the Kosovo House in Davos.
They talked about bilateral relations, trade exchange and the expansion of cooperation between our two countries. Cooperation in the mining industry was highlighted, while Kosovo participated last year in the World Conference on Exploration and Utilization of Minerals, PDAC 2025, held in Toronto. In addition to the mining industry, the potential for strengthening cooperation in infrastructure, information technology and the field of defense was also emphasized.
This was the first meeting between Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Sidhu. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude and acknowledgement to Canada for its continued support for Kosovo in all stages of state-building, Canadian engagement in the KFOR contingent, and support for membership in international organizations.
