On the eve of the 27th anniversary of the Recak Massacre, the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed today to a meeting Ambassador William Walker, former head of the OSCE Verification Mission, accompanied by his wife and associates.
During a cordial conversation, the Prime Minister stated that he is always happy to welcome and meet Ambassador Walker, expressing his deep gratitude for the historic role he has had for the people of Kosovo in exposing Serbia’s genocidal crimes, for the precious friendship that continues and for his unwavering commitment to the service of truth and justice.
They discussed recent developments in the country, as well as preparations for the Reçak Massacre commemoration ceremony, which will be held tomorrow in the municipality of Shtime, where both will participate.
Ambassador Walker thanked for the meeting and conversation, and congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on the election results and victory in the elections of 28 December, 2025.
