The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Liza Gashi, and the Consul General of Kosovo in New York, Ambassador Blerim Reka, were welcomed by compatriots at the “Mother Teresa” Center in Hartsdale, New York, where he met Albanians from all regions and active members of our diaspora, which has given much to the Albanian people and the American people.
He thanked everyone for the warm hospitality and for their continued commitment to promoting ties between our two peoples and countries.
The Prime Minister initially attended Sunday mass at the “Zoja e Shkodres” Albanian Catholic Church in Hartsdale. There he was welcomed by Dom Pjetër Popaj, whom he thanked for his service and hospitality.
