Today, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, and Deputy Minister Arsim Ademi, visited the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina,” where they were welcomed by Rector Arben Hajrullahu.
The meeting discussed opportunities for advancing academic programs, with the aim of enabling the University of Prishtina to attract even more students in the coming years. Discussions also addressed the needs and plans for infrastructure investments, the modernization of academic programs, as well as the various challenges faced by the public university.
The Acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, emphasized that the government is always ready to provide full institutional support in addressing the University’s needs and challenges, considering the University of Prishtina as the foundation of higher education and social development in the country.
Acting Minister Arbërie Nagavci underlined the importance of the continuous improvement of quality in teaching and scientific research, while assuring that MESTI will remain a permanent partner of the University in improving conditions for both students and academic staff.
The meeting was held two weeks before the start of the new academic year and was assessed as an important dialogue in preparation for it.
