The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid homage and laid a wreath of flowers at the grave of the distinguished activist and patriot of the national cause, Fazli Greiçevci, on the 61st anniversary of his assassination.
Fazli Greiçevci belongs to an early generation of activists who gave everything for the freedom we enjoy today. He was an important part of the political organizations and activities together with the activist and symbol of national resistance, Adem Demaçi. In addition to being an activist and patriot, Fazli Greiçevci also made his contribution as a teacher and poet, an intellectual and tireless activist.
On this anniversary, we remember him and bow before his glorious work for freedom and dignity. He died as a result of the deadly tortures of the Yugoslav secret police, in Prishtina Prison, on 17 August 1964.
