The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed today the Finnish Ambassador to Kosovo, Matti Nissinen, in a farewell meeting, in which they discussed and reflected on the work and results of cooperation between the government and the embassy, as well as the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Finland.
The Prime Minister thanked Ambassador Nissinen for his commitment to strengthening bilateral Kosovo-Finland relations in the economic and trade fields, especially through the Nordic Chamber of Commerce, which opened in 2023, but also exchanges between the two countries through visits by institutional representatives, highlighting here the visit to Kosovo of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Elina Valtonen, last year. He also expressed gratitude for the continuous support that Finland has provided to our country both at the internal institutional and social level and at the international level, in the Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
The meeting emphasized the mutual will to deepen cooperation and partnership in various fields.
Prime Minister Kurti cordially wished Ambassador Nissinen success in his new and upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
