Prishtina, 10 July 2025
Today, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed to his office, and later hosted for a working lunch, the Chief Executive Officer of Bosch Rexroth, Dr. Steffen Haack.
During the meeting and lunch, Prime Minister Kurti, accompanied by the Acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Haack and wished him a successful visit to Kosovo. He informed him about the country’s economic performance over the past four years, government policies supporting businesses—particularly in manufacturing—investments in higher education, especially in STEM fields, and Kosovo’s offer and advantages in attracting foreign investors.
Emphasizing the growing technology sector in the country, with over 2,000 tech and IT companies, Kurti stated that Kosovo is becoming the digital hub of the region. Just as other German companies are already developing their software in Kosovo, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that Bosch Rexroth too can benefit from the country’s offer: a young and professional workforce, low operational costs, grants for investments in machinery, duty-free imports of equipment, access to modern industrial zones, and a legal framework aligned with European Union standards to ensure long-term investment stability.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister invited Bosch Rexroth leadership to explore concrete investment opportunities in Kosovo and expressed his full readiness—as well as that of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo—for cooperation and partnership.
CEO Dr. Haack, together with a delegation from Bosch Rexroth, is staying in Kosovo for a multi-day visit, during which he will meet not only with institutional leaders but also with the startup business community and academia. Bosch Rexroth has a presence in nearly 100 countries worldwide, employs around 32,600 people, and generated €6.5 billion in sales revenue last year.
