The Information Campaign for Visa Liberalization, after Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan and Podujeva, continued today in Mitrovica. This campaign is informing the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo about the most detailed and the necessary information on free movement without visas that will start from January 1, 2024.
The mobile information team was visited today by the first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi.
He saw closely the work that is being done to inform the citizens. All citizens of the country, without distinction, must be informed about the rules of travel in the Schengen area and their rights regarding free movement after January 1, 2024.
Must have valid biometric passport, stay only 90 days within 180 days period, have proof of purpose of travel in Schengen area, on stay such as hotel reservation or details of place where you will stay, travel details including the reservation of the return ticket, if traveling by car, the necessary car documentation and proof that you have sufficient financial means.
In the campaign tool, citizens can become part of the quiz with questions about the EU.
