The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today visited the “Gacaferi Glass” factory in the municipality of Peja, a family company which is also a beneficiary of measure 2.1 for subsidizing investment loans, within the Economic Revival Package.
Prime Minister Kurti said that this factory, which has 18 workers, has managed to not only sell their production, plastic and aluminum doors and windows and glass panes in the Kosovar market, but also to export even to Germany and In Switzerland.
“They have benefited from measure 2.1 for subsidizing investment loans for a very valuable machine which helps in the quality products that this factory has. Pneumatic but also automatic and robotic machines that do welding, cutting and so on”, he said.
Prime Minister Kurti, who was accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, said that together they expressed the support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for these small and medium-sized businesses, which, as he wished, would become medium-sized as soon as possible and one day gave me.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli expressed that it is a pleasure to visit a Kosovar manufacturing business which contributes to the increase in value and the creation of jobs.
“We discussed, in addition to the achievements, the challenges and the ways the government can help this company, but also other companies in order to be as competitive as possible in the European and international market”, she said at the end of the visit.
Prime Minister Kurti’s complete statement:
We are here in Peja at the “Gacaferi Glass” factory, a family company that dates back to the early 80s of the last century. They have 18 workers and have managed to not only sell their production, plastic and aluminum doors and windows and glass panes in the Kosovar market, but also to export even to Germany and Switzerland. They have benefited from measure 2.1 for subsidizing investment loans for a very valuable machine which helps in the quality products that this factory has. Pneumatic but also automatic and robotic machines that do welding, cutting and so on. On this occasion, together with the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, we expressed the support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for these small and medium-sized businesses to become medium-sized as soon as possible and one day even large so that they also have a profit as a private company with owners and workers, but at the same time the economy of our country should be more and more advanced.
I thank the Gacaferi family very much for their hospitality and for this tireless commitment to do this professional and honest work.
With us is the manager Rrona and her parent and our minister.
