Prime Minister Mustafa: Jusuf Gërvalla, Kadri Zeka e Bardhosh Gervalla paved the path to freedom of Kosovo

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa reminded the prominent activists for freedom of Kosovo Jusuf Gervalla, Kadri Zeka and Bardhosh Gervalla, on the 34 th anniversary of their fall from the former Yugoslav regime.

Prime Minister Mustafa stresses that Jusuf Gervalla was an extraordinary intellectual who with his wise knowledge, political vision and patriotic determination, along with Bardhosh and Kadri Zeka, with unique dedication managed to raise the level of organization and unification of Albanian activists within national movement for the freedom of Kosovo.

“Activity and the extraordinary contribution of Jusuf Gervalla and his fellow activists, had a decisive impact on the entire dinamism of Albanian national movement against the former Yugoslav regime by mobilizing intellectual elite and the masses of the population, and increasing confidence in the inevitable triumph of the will of the people of Kosovo, “said Prime Minister Mustafa.

Further, Prime Minister Mustafa said that killing of Jusuf, Kadri and Bardhosh on 17 January 1982, was a serious blow for the movement of Kosovo Albanians, but they considered the spiritual figures of the cause for the freedom of Kosovo, paving a clear path to freedom, independence and democracy in Kosovo.
