The Government of the Republic of Kosovo condemns the attack with Molotov cocktail on the offices of the President of Kosovo in the building of the Assembly of Kosovo.
This criminal act directed against the Kosovo institutions, is a continuation of attacks with Molotov bombs on Police, Government building, burning of official and private vehicles, and against the house and family of the Prime Minister, responsible for which no that were not found and they were not brought before the law, but there was no public reaction.
Such acts, the Government of Kosovo considers threatening for the constitutional order and stability, and therefore urges that they be solved and the perpetrators held accountable before the law.
The Government of Kosovo also invites all political representatives, who in their public appearances, are trying to justify the attacks with Molotov on private homes and public institutions, citing all fictitious causes, that they abstain from such a language .
Such actions undermine the major interests of the citizens of Kosovo, intensified EU integration processes, strengthening the rule of law and the country’s economic perspective.
Kosovo government calls on all political representatives, who, based in unsustainable causes, have encouraged and promoted the introduction of the language of Molotov and other unlawful means in political and public life in Kosovo, to refrain from such acts and become part of the efforts of the citizens and the Government of Kosovo for economic development, Euro-Atlantic integrations and strengthening of strategic partnership with the US and other friendly countries.
