The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, sent a telegram of condolences to the Prela family on the occasion of the death of the Albanian diplomat, Vladimir Prela.
The telegram of condolences stated:
To the Honorable Prela family,
We heard, with great sadness, about the death of your loved one, the well-known Albanian diplomat, Vladimir Prela.
The institutions and the people of Kosovo will remember Vladimir Prela with pride and will always be appreciative of his commitment to Kosovo, during the time when he served as the Head of the Albanian Office in Kosovo.
The contribution of the diplomat Vladimir Prela will be recorded in the newest history of the construction of the independent state of Kosovo.
In the name of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, please accept our most sincere condolences.
