Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA)

1. The Food and Veterinary Agency is the Executive Agency, which operates within the Office of the Prime Minister and exercises its functions and responsibilities defined by Law no. 03 / L-016 on Food and Regulation no.03 / 2010 on the organization of the Food and Veterinary Agency (17.09.2010).

2. FVA performs other duties and responsibilities defined by the legislation in force which regulates the issue of food safety, of animal and plant origin, the issue of public health, animal health and welfare, plant health, the issue of official veterinary, phytosanitary and sanitary control as well as other relevant legislation as well as tasks defined by the Prime Minister.
