Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi and Ambassador Abott discussed the situation with the pandemic, where they shared the common concern about the increase in the number of infections in recent weeks globally, emphasizing the commitment and focus of the Ministry of Health in managing the new Covid variant and increase vaccine doses in the population, which number has reached the figure of 1.7 million managed doses. Also, the focus of the conversation was oriented towards areas such as economy and energy, where Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi addressed the implemented policies, oriented towards the economic growth of the country and the steps taken thanks to the management of the energy situation in the country.
Among other things, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the partnership and support of the United Kingdom for Kosovo and the interest and commitment of the United Kingdom in the Western Balkans. Ambassador Abott expressed his gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi for the reception and expressed their readiness for continued support to the Republic of Kosovo.
