Prime Minister Kurti received in a meeting Lea Ypin, professor in Political Theory at the London School of Economics

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the professor of Political Theory in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics, Ms. Lea Ypi, author of newly published book in London and Tirana “Free – Coming of Age at the End of History”.
Prime Minister Kurti and Ms. Ypi, discussed the political situation in Kosovo and Albania, challenges and governance experiences.

They agreed that both countries’ progressist orientation must be expressed through a deep social reform and qualitative public administration.

They also discussed implementation of the program and achievements of the Government of Kosovo during these nine months, and the current political developments in Great Britain, EU and beyond.
Ms. Lea Ypi has come to Prishtina to promote the book “Free – Coming of Age at the End of History”, currently being translated in 15 languages.

Prime Minister Kurti congratulated Ms. Ypi for the success of her book in the first month of publication, and wished her further success in the future. The book addressed the 80s period, after the fall of communism in Albania, from the perspective of a child.

Ms. Ypi has also authored the following books “Global Justice and Avant-Garde Political Agency” and “The Architectonic of Reason”, and co-authored several other books.

The book “Migration in Political Theory” (co-authored by Sarah Fine) is ranked among most read titles in the Oxford University Press catalogue. She has received an award from the British Academy for excellence in political science.
