Prime Minister Kurti inaugurated the opening of Consular Services in Iowa

In the presence of our diaspora, institutional representatives and personalities from Iowa, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, inaugurated the opening of Consular Services in Iowa, United States of America. At the ceremony, the formal ribbon cutting was also done by Prime Minister Kurti, along with Ryan Carroll from the Greater Des Moines Partnership.

On this occasion, the two children of the Kërveshi family, who have been living in Iowa, USA, for years, were formally registered, to whom the certificates as citizens of the Republic of Kosovo were handed over.

It was emphasized that the opening of services will improve the connections of the Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo with our diaspora in Iowa. By expanding the services provided at this consulate, the Government of Kosovo reconfirms the sustainability of the consulate, as well as will improve its relations with the state of Iowa and beyond with the United States of America.

Also present at the ceremony were the Minister of Defence, Armend Mehaj, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Liza Gashi, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Luan Dalipi, Colonel Ejup Makedonci, the Head of Mission at the Consulate in Iowa, Artan Duraku and Berat Shala, from the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Washington.
