The budget for 2023 is presented to the citizens of the Municipality of Podujeva

After the Municipality of Gjakova, today, the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Faton Peci, presented the budget for 2023 in Podujeva.

In front of the citizens of Podujeva, Minister Murati said that with the 2023 budget, we will continue the support for education, health, agriculture and security. He said that in its framework it is foreseen that capital investments, as well as goods and services will reach the value of 1.3 billion euros, which is then reflected in the growth of business activity as well as sustainable economic development. Further, Minister Murati said that the budget for municipalities in 2023 is expected to be about 100 million euros higher than this year’s.

The budget of the Municipality of Podujeva for 2023 is expected to be nearly 27.5 million euros. On his part, Minister Peci said that support to farmers will be greater than ever before. He said that the support for our farmers, for the first time, reaches the value of 87 million euros, and that even with the support of external funds, it is expected to exceed the total amount of 100 million euros. After the initial presentations, Minister Murati together with Minister Peci had the opportunity to talk with the citizens, answering their questions and comments on budget allocations and projects for the next year.
