The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held its 92nd meeting in a row, in which it approved seventeen decisions.
The decision to allocate 40 million euros for the support of public enterprises and 600 thousand euros for the support of local producers was approved by the government cabinet.
Regarding the implementation of the Economic Recovery Package, additional amendments have been approved, with which the total amount allocated for the measure of family liquidity support, is 7 million four hundred thousand euros.
1,080,768 euros have been reallocated to the Ministry of Local Government Administration, for the implementation of capital projects in accordance with the seven Agreements of Understanding for capital projects signed by the Minister of Local Government Administration and the mayors of the municipalities: Klina, Gjilan, Obiliq, Podujeva, Shtime, Istog and Kamenica.
In order to restore legality, the government cabinet has repealed 17 previous decisions, for the withdrawal from the privatization process and the return of properties administered by the Privatization Agency of Kosovo to the municipalities of Prizren, Klina, Malisheva, Skenderaj, Podujeva, Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Shterpce. , Istog, Peja, Graçanica, Zveçan, Vushtrria, Northn Mitrovica, Ranillug and Kllokot.
In today’s meeting, the government has approved the decision to designate sanitary protected areas and their protective measures for the underground water source used for drinking – “Konjuhi Wells” in the Municipality of Lipjan. The purpose of defining sanitary protected areas is to protect underground water sources – “Konjuh Wells”, Lipjani Municipality, from negative impacts which can damage the normal and stable state of water in terms of quality and quantity.
The Administrative Instruction on Functioning of the Team for the Rights of the Child has been approved.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the death of the Albanian humanist Mother Teresa, the Government has established the organizational Council for this anniversary.
The government has appointed boards of directors in four (4) central public enterprises:
• Central Public Enterprise “Public Enterprise “Kosovo Railways – Trainkos J.S.C.”;
• Regional Water Company “Hidroregjioni Jugor” J.S.C. Prizren;
• Regional Irrigation Company “Radoniqi-Dukagjini”, J.S.C. Gjakova; and
• Regional Water Company “Bifurkacioni” J.S.C. Ferizaj.
Also, the decision for the dismissal of the board of directors of the public enterprise “Kosovo Railway Infrastructure – Infrakos” J.S.C., and the appointment of the temporary board of directors of this company has been approved.
Two decisions have been approved to ask the President of the Republic of Kosovo to grant authorization to the first deputy prime minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue, Besnik Bislimi, for signing the Financial Agreement for IPA 2021, between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union, and the signing of Addendum no. 2 to Financial Agreement for IPA 2018, between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union.
In the meeting, the government cabinet was informed about the implementation of the National Program for the Implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (NPISAA) during the period April – June 2022, as well as the Report on the assessment of the legality of the acts of the Municipal Assemblies for the period January – June 2022.
After review, the work report of the Kosovo Council for Financial Reporting for the period July 2021 – June 2022 was also approved.
