The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci was received today by the Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the meeting, the two prime ministers discussed the practical implementation of the Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, achieved after talks in Brussels with the mediation of the European Union, as well as for the recognition of the state of Kosovo and other issues of interest to the two countries.
Prime Minister Erdogan expressed his supported for the Prime Minister and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the reached agreement, and stressed that the implementation of this agreement is essential for peace and stability in the region.
The two prime ministers highly praised Kosovo-Turkey interstate relations, and expressed their dedication to promoting more cooperation between them, with special emphasis in the area of economic development.
