106th meeting of the Government

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has its next meeting in which:

The Draft Law on the Central Criminal Evidence System of Kosovo was approved. This system will enable greater transparency in terms of criminal evidence. Through the connection with the electronic system for tracking cases, it will ensure greater efficiency but also accountability within the judicial system.

The Administrative instruction for determining the List and Types of Assistive Devices that are provided free of charge paraplegic and tetraplegic person, serving for Movement, Prevention and Assistance, and other administrative instruction for the Registration, Operation and Deregistration of Non-Governmental Organizations aimed at simplifying and facilitating the procedure of registration and operation of NGOs.

The Republican Commission of Holidays was founded with the following composition that will prepare the rules and ways of celebrating official holidays and memorial days:

1. Office of the Prime Minister, chairman;
2. Ministry of Internal Affairs;
3. Ministry of Justice;
4. Ministry of Local Government Administration;
5. Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers;
6. Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation;
7. Ministry of Economy;
8. Ministry for Communities and Return;
9. Ministry of Health;
10. Representatives from the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo;
11. Representative from the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo;

Decision no.21/16 was amended and supplemented for the formation of the inter-ministerial working group for the field of free movement and goods, appointing the new composition of this group, as well as completing the amendment of the decision 03/30, guaranteeing the Innovation and Training Park, ITP in Prizren the right to use all facilities found in the plots given for use by the Government.

The decision was approved for the sale of official vehicles which are unusable and out of order of the Ministry of Economy, through the public auction that will be managed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The National Radio Frequency Plan was approved. It is of great importance for activities related to protection and security, maintenance of public order and public emergency services.

The concept document for Gender Responsive Budgeting was approved, which enables equal distribution of resources and contributes to equal opportunities for all: women and men, girls and boys. It is essential for gender equality and justice and for fiscal equality and justice.

The Executive Commission for Digitization was established with the following composition. Headed by the Prime Minister, it will examine and approve the strategic priorities and initiatives of new Government policies in the field of information technology and digitalization, as well as provide strategic direction and ensure inter-institutional coordination in projects of high importance in this field:

1. The Prime Minister, chairman;
2. First Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman;
3. Minister of Internal Affairs, member;
4. Minister of Economy, member;
5. Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, member;
6. Lulëzon Jagxhiu, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Information Technology issues, member.

It was added to the Legislative Program for 2022, the Draft Law for supplementing and amending the Law on Energy as a need driven by the energy situations in the country.

The government cabinet was informed about the implementation of the National Program for the implementation of the Stabilization-Association Agreement during the period July-September 2022.

The initiative for the conclusion of the international agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom was approved, which will contribute to increasing the capacities and advancement of the Kosovo Security Force. The joint agreement envisages the landing of KSF troops with those of the United Kingdom.

From the declared savings, 11.7 million euros were reallocated to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation to cover their programs, projects or obligations.
