The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has received at the meeting the students who received the scholarships awarded by MAShTI and MAPL for the communities.
Students from the Ashkali, Egyptian and Roma communities talked with Prime Minister Kurti, in the joint meeting with the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci and the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the fact that higher education is now offered free of charge to all students.
In the meeting, it was emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is working to create equal opportunities in education. It was said that through these scholarships worth 1,000 euros for students from the communities, it is intended that they focus on their professional and academic development, without having the burden of the financial side. The commitment to support the new generations, without distinction, through scholarships and other mechanisms was reiterated.
