At the end of his one-day stay in Albania, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was also welcomed by the former president of Albania and the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.
They discussed the latest developments in Kosovo within the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia. Prime Minister Kurti informed Mr. Meta for the details of the agreement reached in Ohrid, North Macedonia and the previously agreed basis in Brussels, under the mediation of the European Union, for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
He also informed Chairman Meta about the main achievements of the two-year government in the economic, social and democratic fields, and about the attention given to the field of defense, education, agriculture and health in the 2023 budget.
Mayor Meta congratulated Prime Minister Kurti for the achievements of his government, also evidenced in international reports, describing Kosovo as a model of success. He gave his support for the positions and constructive approach of the Government of Kosovo in the dialogue process with Serbia for the full normalization of relations.(Edited)Restore original
