At the end of the first day of his visit to Strasbourg, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was received by over 30 ambassadors of member states in the Council of Europe.
In his speech, he spoke about the progress and development of Kosovo in the country’s democratization, economic growth, rule of law and justice.
Kosovo has made great strides towards democratization and economic development, indicators of which are international indexes and rankings that prove that Kosovo is a success story of quality democracy and economic development.
Prime Minister Kurti also spoke about the application for membership in the Council of Europe.
The Republic of Kosovo shares the same values and principles with the Council of Europe, which are embodied in the Constitution of the Republic.
He thanked the member countries for their support so far and asked them to continue it in order to advance further in this process until Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe.
