Prime Minister Kurti visits local producers in Klina and Istog

Accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Faton Peci and the Deputy Minister of this Ministry, Imri Demelezi, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, visited today two local businesses of local production in Klina and Istog.

Initially in Klina, Prime Minister Kurti visited the factory for the production, processing and packaging of wheat, barley and oat seeds “Agroelita”. With the latest digital technology, 300 hectares of arable land, about 1000 other hectares contracted with farmers and barns with a capacity of 14,500 tons, “Agroelita” brings the local seed for wheat to our country.

Afterwards, the visit continued to the “Berry K” Orchard, in Gurrakoc, Istog, known for the production of blueberries. With an investment of 300,000 euros, more than 20 seasonal employees engaged, “Barry K” has all its production contracted to the markets of the European Union.

During this visit, Prime Minister Kurti offered the help and support of the Government to local producers.
