The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti yesterday afternoon had a conversation with a group of students from different countries of the world, who are pursuing master’s studies in Austria. This group of students who are staying in Kosovo as part of a study visit, is led by prof. Navy Grandits.
In front of them, Prime Minister Kurti spoke about Kosovo’s achievements and successes in the past year in the field of the rule of law, about the reforms undertaken, democratic and economic progress, as well as about Kosovo’s application to the Council of Europe in May of passed and in the European Union in December, as historic steps for Kosovo.
He underlined that Kosovo is a double story of success; the success of NATO’s humanitarian intervention in the spring of 1999 and evidence that democracy and economic development can go hand in hand.
The meeting was held in the amphitheater of the former Renaissance building.
