Pristina, November 8, 2022
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, after the invitation sent to the leaders of the parliamentary opposition entities, received the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, accompanied by Bedri Hamza; the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, accompanied by Lutfi Haziri, as well as the chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, accompanied by Ardian Gjini.
In this meeting convened after the recent developments in the country and especially in the north of the country, the current situation in the Republic of Kosovo was discussed.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to preserving sovereignty and territorial integrity, legality, constitutionality, peace and security, and that it is at the service of all citizens, without distinction.
The alliance with international partners, the United States of America, the European Union and NATO, and communication and coordination in the service of peace, and in maintaining public order and security for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, were emphasized.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked the leaders of the opposition parties who responded positively to the invitation for the meeting and discussion.
