The current cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) was at the center of the meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Michael Davenport.
Prime Minister Kurti and Ambassador Davenport spoke about current issues and the areas where the OSCE supports the Government and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. Joint commitment to the prevention of gender-based violence against women and girls was emphasized.
They also discussed the progress of early elections in the northern municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
The commitment to strengthening the implementation of the Law on the Use of Official Languages, through the establishment of the Translation and Harmonization Unit, within the Prime Minister’s Office, was appreciated.
